Deschutes jasper, from Oregon, long time favorite in the celebrated family of porcelain jaspers, this classic old material has become quite collectibly rare these days. Cabochon feature striking patterns in rich earthy tones in creamy tans and chocolate browns, they can even have a touch of blue gray. This jasper comes from a deposit a little east of Biggs Junction Oregon near the Deschutes River.
